Scheduling

Each week, I'll post my availability for a couple of weeks out - to the best my schedule and knowledge of it allows. Some weeks, of course, I'll have more availability than others - but in general I will try to guarantee two or three sessions as available each week.

What You Do:

If you want to start/lead an expedition/chase a goal:

• As a player, reach out through the notice board (ICly) - I recommend a thread - indicating what you want to do and when you'd like to go or have availability. I'd express how many people you'd like to have - let's call these 'available slots' - and how you're selecting companions. Want to take a big party off for some massive thing? Try:

"I'm looking for four or five hearty folks to go with me on a great quest to take on the <monster here>. We're going to leave on Tuesday, 10/4 - I'm thinking 8-11 EST. I'll take anyone in the order they sign up!"

• If you're setting up the expedition, you're the Party Leader. That means.. well. Your character's leading this excursion, and you're taking on a few of the organizing responsibilities.
• Organize your team - and reach out to me when you feel like you've got a group ready to go to lock in your spot and to ensure I'm ready for you! This is best done through the Scheduling channel or via a DM; in either case, I'll set up a thread for us to talk over the expedition and capture our housekeeping for the event

If you want to go on an expedition..

• Express your interest and/or sign up!
• Pay attention to the scheduling thread, and participate in prep events/discussion.

If you sign up, you are expected to attend! Remember, your team is counting on you being there. If you cannot attend, please let your party leader know as soon as you do so arrangements can be made.

After the Session:

It's up to you all to report on what you find to the player pool as a whole - there's a channel here just for that (#journal-links-and-information). Tell your stories! Share your discoveries! I can give you a thread for journals just for you, as well (See Character Threads). Hopefully, this will inspire you and others to go other places and unravel other mysteries across the Reach.

Scheduling Notes:

I want to stress, to everyone, that you are part of a Player Pool. There are lots of players and there will be more! You aren't expected to - and likely won't be able to! - go on every adventure, and if you want to take on a particular task or objective, you may want to build out your own event yourself! This isn't the kind of game where everybody goes out on every session.
